Our standard turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, from the time we receive the deposit and design approval or final artwork submission. This may vary depending on our production schedule. Any process that requires extra finishing, such as binding or edge painting, will extend the turnaround time. If you have a firm deadline please indicate it in the Request for Quote form.
Rush service is available for 25% of your total invoice. Rush fees apply if your job must be complete in less than 2 weeks. We cannot always accommodate a rush job - it depends on how quickly we can source the materials needed for your particular project.
We are happy to create a one-of-a-kind unique piece and we can print just one piece if you prefer, but please note that most of the cost goes into the setup of the overall job (plate or die + paper + setup of the press), so there is little difference in cost whether we print one or 100.
An Illustrator file (.ai) or PDF with outlined fonts is our preferred format but you are welcome to send InDesign or illustrator files – just be sure to include all fonts used in the document.
If you want to provide a mock up, you can upload a file when submitting your Quote Request Form. Alternately, once we provide you with an estimate, you can simply email us the artwork as we finalize your order.
Our maximum printable area is 13" x 20" on 15" x 24" size paper.
In addition to letterpress printing, we can do die cutting, foil printing, edge painting, scoring, perforation, rounded corners and sequential numbering.
No, we can’t. Letterpress machine prints one color at a time and does not print the same way as offset or digital printing. Each color requires a plate. We can however print overprints on some colors that use transparent ink. Please contact us for more information.
Yes, we can work with a local print shop for the digital or offset portion, and do the letterpress or foil portion here.
Custom design is often quoted at the same time as printing, but the length of the process differs and depends on the complexity of the project and your timely responses to our inquiries. The time frame for custom design is additional to the turnaround time for production.
Sorry, but we can only provide a digital proof.
If you are local, you are welcome to come in for a press check. Please let us know in advance so we can arrange a time.

We can discuss details case by case.
We ask for a 50% deposit when you are ready to begin your project. The remainder will be due at the time of shipment or pick up.
