We are looking for a graphic designer to join the Hammerpress team to assist in creation of our wholesale product and custom projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
+ working directly and collaboratively with Hammerpress designers to develop greeting card and other wholesale product ideas.

+ working with Hammerpress designers on custom projects and assisting with pre-press work such as file preparation and printing plate ordering.

+ assisting with updates to Hammerpress website and other internal promotional projects.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES :

• proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• some knowledge or experience with print design
• attention to detail
• strong communication skills
• willingness and ability to work well with others

• strong work ethic

This position is primarily to assist with design work, both custom and internal, working directly with other designers at the studio as well as clients on custom projects. We are looking for someone with developed typographic skills, both traditional and more experimental, a strong sense of color and in general a very creative thinker that can work well with others in a collaborative environment.

This position is for 32–40 hours a week.  Pay rate for this position is from $18.00 - $20.00/hr depending on level of experience and portfolio.
